This is a quick tip for FL Studio beginners. When you have downloaded a sample pack, you want to be able to access it easily. Therefore FL Studio has the option to add your sample library to the folder structure of FL Studio (left side of the screen). This way you can browse through your samples with ease! Let’s get to it:
Adding iZotope Plugins into FL Studio Install your iZotope plugin from the Splice desktop client. If you choose a custom installation destination, take note of the file path. So, let us learn a bit more about these elements of FL Studio: The Pattern. The pattern is, perhaps, the most initial step before creating a track on the platform of FL Studio. So, once you start to create a track on the FL Studio, 4 samples of sounds get loaded into their respective channels automatically. These samples are a kick, snare, clap.
Step 1: Options – File settings
Step 3: Locate your sample folder
Easy as that! Your sample library is now at the folder structure on your left. Of course you can do this with any folder you have on your system, for example a second projects folder.
When you downloadFL Studio in Windows 10, the program will automatically create a set of folders on your hard drive where all samples will be stored.
First, navigate to your C: drive -> Program Files. There may be two of these. Look for the one that contains the 'Image Line' folder.
In this folder, navigate to Image-Line -> FL Studio 20 (or whatever version you’re using) -> Data -> Patches -> Packs.
After you Unzip your folder (Right click, unzip). Click and drag your new sample pack folder into the Packs folder.
Congratulations! You added a new sample pack to your sample pack library.
Once in a while we update our packs with new samples as we discover more sounds and add what we feel the pack should contain in order to be the best sample pack it can be. If you have any suggestions for updates please feel free to contact us.
